Samson, Sampson, Simpson ???

Samson, Sampson, Simpson ???

Samson, Sampson, and Simpson. I've seen all three names used. Are they three different people, or typos? If they are different, then I'd really appreciate a discription of who each of these people are. Thanks,

Hi Justin, .........John Samson was a builder of ferroboats in Canada. He formed a company along with several designers called Samson Marine Designs Ltd. He retired from the scene and sold the business around 1974. The Samson designs are available from Hartley & Brookes Associates at www.hartley-boats.com Sampson is a mis-spelling of Samson and Simpson was one of the Samson group designers. Regards
